For Yoga & Mental Health Professionals

Are you a healing professional, teaching yoga or providing mental health services, offering support to those suffering from depression, anxiety, trauma, or stress?  Do you sometime struggle to find time for your own health and well being?  We can become burned out by over giving or overwhelmed by witnessing so much pain.  Yoga teachers and mental health professionals are human and as prone to hurry, worry, and self doubt as those we serve.

What if you could help others BY and while taking care of yourself?  Find time for you and teach others to do the same?  As you learn about the science and practice of compassion, you share the techniques and strategies with your clients and students.  Your heart opens to love and peace and you witness them having more compassion for themselves and others.  As you set boundaries and come into deeper awareness, alignment, and acceptance, you observe their minds become free from confusion and doubt. When you experience your body as healthy and energized, they too will have a more positive body image and healthy self esteem.  You will enjoy these on demand continuing education courses for yoga and mental health professionals, designed to be convenient for you and your busy schedule, as much for their easy access as for the transformation that you and your clients and students will experience.

As a mental health professional and yoga teacher, I share your vision of making both an impact and a living.  I also know how easy it can be for us to put ourselves last and end up feeling we have failed when those we serve don't seem to make progress.  We can end up blaming ourselves and neglect our own self care as we try harder and work more hours, hoping this will result in better health for others.  The truth is, if we are not free from suffering and living with ease, it is unlikely that we can help anyone else feel healthy and happy!   The benefits of yoga are holistic, including improved physical health, clarity in mental state and balanced emotional experience.  Yoga has a positive impact on our vocations and professional lives.

Both yoga and mental health professionals provide healing support to others and need to take care of their own health, including mental focus, emotional well being, physical stamina, and energy awareness.  Lotus Yoga is here for yoga and mental health professionals who need continuing education and also want to practice self care. My continuing education courses are frequently updated to reflect the most state of the art techniques and cutting edge research in the fields of yoga and mental health.  But, one thing I have noticed over my decades of study and teaching is that yoga has the answers we seek and science continues to prove that yoga is your ready made system of sanity, self care, freedom from suffering and living with ease.
