For Yoga & Mental Health Professionals

As a mental health professional and yoga teacher, I share your vision of making both an impact and a living.  I also know how easy it can be for us to put ourselves last and end up feeling we have failed when those we serve don't seem to make progress.  We can end up blaming ourselves and neglect our own self care as we try harder and work more hours, hoping this will result in better health for others.  The truth is, if we are not free from suffering and living with ease, it is unlikely that we can help anyone else feel healthy and happy!   The benefits of yoga are holistic, including improved physical health, clarity in mental state and balanced emotional experience.  Yoga has a positive impact on our vocations and professional lives. 

Both yoga and mental health professionals provide healing support to others and need to take care of their own health, including mental focus, emotional well being, physical stamina, and energy awareness.  Lotus Yoga is here for yoga and mental health professionals who need continuing education and also want to practice self care. Harmonizing with the Seasons

Ayurveda, the medicinal aspect of Yoga, offers a practice that aligns with the energy of each season.  In the Spring, we work with the elements of air and water; in Summer, we balance the heat with a more cooling practice; in Fall, you will need to embrace change and transition; in Winter, seek warm and cozy practices.  Asanas, pranayama, and meditations are provided for your deepest experience of each time of year.
