ABOUT US

Lotus Yoga offers a practice of wholeness, supporting a calm mind, emotional balance, and a strong body.  This studio is down to earth, providing instruction for all levels of yoga students.  Beginners are welcome and experienced students are challenged.  Director, Regina Trailweaver, LICSW, RYT, teaches from a wealth of knowledge gained over three decades of yoga study and experience and  infuses every class with her deep focus on alignment, awareness, and acceptance.  Students also enjoy classes and workshops with Lotus Yoga certified teachers as well as colleagues from other trainings and traditions

TUESDAYS 5:30-6:30

Easy, Mellow, Beginner Friendly

This class is for those who enjoy attention to the basic principles of each pose, staying and playing in the pose, though still experimenting and having fun. At least one challenging pose thoroughly explored each time!

WEDNESDAYS 11 AM-12 PM

Gentle Yoga

This class of slower, easier movement still builds cardio and muscular strength while calming stress and activating the relaxation response.  Gentle yoga provides healing practices for trauma, anxiety, and depression or promotes greater well being for those already experiencing emotional balance.

THURSDAYS 5:30-6:30

Inspired Flow

For those who are physically fit and/or have some yoga experience, this class will build strength and flexibility as you move from one pose to the next. Options for either more or for less challenge are offered throughout the moderate framework. Accessible for beginners while supporting those with more experience.
